Shelly Becker is the first......and second woman ever to cataraft the North Fork of the Payette in Idaho near Banks top to bottom of the 15 mile stretch considered by many to one of the most challenging stretches of whitewater in the states.
She was the first woman to ever run it last year and so many people told her "anybody can run it once," that she went back this year to do a "PROVE IT!!" run.
I was lucky enough to photograph her first decent last year and this time I followed her all the way from the top.
